Beef Short Ribs with Egg Noodles
Our traditional Beef Short ribs are browned, braised and slowly simmered in a tomato, wine, and beef broth until they are fork tender. The cooking broth is thickened and strained to produce a rich gravy to complement the tender ribs. Served on the bone with egg noodles and extra gravy.
NOTE: Beef short ribs are a very flavorful and tender meat, but fattier than pork ribs.
Heating Instructions
- Oven directions: Remove lid and cover with foil. Place pan in pre-heated 325° oven for 20-30 min. (s/m) 40-45 min. (large) or until thoroughly heated. Baste beef with gravy halfway through heating time to prevent beef from drying out.
- Microwave directions: Remove lid and cover with paper towel. Heat for 3-4 min. (Small), 4-6 min. (Med.), 5-7 min. (Large).
- Ingredients: Beef short ribs, egg noodles, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, beef base, water, diced tomatoes, red wine, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, thyme, bay leaves, parsley.
