Lemongrass Skirt Steak with Basil Fried Rice
Skirt steak marinated with lemongrass, ginger, scallions, cilantro, garlic, lime juice and fish sauce. Steak is cooked to medium rare and served with brown rice that has been steamed, cooled and then cooked for a crispy texture on the griddle. Garnished with vegetable such as cabbage, carrot, onion and mushroom.
Heating Instructions
- Microwave directions: Remove lid and cover with paper towel. Heat on HIGH for 3-4 min. (small); 4-5 min. (med.); 5-6 min. (large) or until heated through. Rearrange chicken and stir rice halfway through to prevent over cooking.
- Oven directions: Remove lid and cover with foil. Bake in pre-heated 350° oven for 15-25 min. or until heated through.
